Refund & Cancellation

Thank you for choosing Plantiary and purchasing our digital products and subscriptions provided by Blacke Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Plantiary,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”).

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the Plantiary mobile application (via Apple App Store or Google Play) and our websites (including plantiary.com and subdomains). Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Rule: Digital Content

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that Plantiary provides digital content and services. When you subscribe or make a purchase, the digital service is made available to you immediately. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable, unless otherwise stated in this policy or required by mandatory local laws.

2. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

Plantiary offers various subscription plans to unlock unlimited AI identifications, plant care reminders, and premium features.

  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends.
  • Billing: Payment will be charged to the payment method you provided at the time of purchase (e.g., Apple ID, Google Play account, or credit card via Stripe/PayPal for web purchases).

3. Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods to let you experience our premium features.

  • If you sign up for a free trial, you must cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial period ends to avoid being automatically charged for the subsequent subscription period.
  • If you do not cancel on time, your chosen payment method will be charged, and the standard cancellation and refund rules will apply.

4. Cancellation Policy

Important Note: Deleting the Plantiary app from your device does not cancel your subscription. You must actively cancel your subscription using the method through which you purchased it.

Canceling your subscription means that the automatic renewal will be disabled. You will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle, but you will continue to have access to all premium features until the end of your currently paid period.

  • For Apple App Store Purchases: Go to your iPhone’s Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Tap Plantiary > Cancel Subscription.
  • For Google Play Purchases: Go to the Google Play app > Profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Tap Plantiary > Cancel subscription.
  • For Web Purchases (Paddle / Stripe): You can manage and cancel your subscription by logging into your account via the customer portal link provided in your purchase confirmation email, or by contacting us at [email protected] at least 24 hours before your next billing date.

5. Refund Policy Based on Purchase Platform

A. Apple App Store & Google Play Purchases If you purchased your subscription through the App Store or Google Play, the transaction is processed and controlled entirely by Apple or Google. Plantiary does not have the ability to issue refunds for app store purchases.

  • Apple: You must request a refund directly from Apple by visiting: reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Google Play: You can request a refund directly from Google Play via their customer support page or your Google account purchase history.

B. Web Purchases (Direct Credit Card / Paddle / Stripe) For subscriptions purchased directly on our websites, fees are non-refundable. Discretionary refunds may only be granted in exceptional cases (e.g., persistent technical bugs strictly attributable to our platform that completely prevent you from using the service). You must provide appropriate documentation (screenshots, error logs) to claim such technical defects.

Voluntary Money-Back Guarantee (For Web Purchases Only) In addition to the standard policy, if you purchased a personalized plant care plan via our websites and do not see any visible improvement in your plant's health, you may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase.

To qualify for this specific money-back guarantee, you must provide verifiable proof of compliance. You must demonstrate that you have strictly followed the personalized plan for at least 14 consecutive days. "Proof of compliance" requires:

  1. Screenshots showing that you have actively logged into the App and completed/checked off your daily plant care tasks (watering, misting, etc.) for 14 consecutive days.
  2. Clear "before" and "after" photos of the specific plant, taken at least 14 days apart, demonstrating no visible results.

Please note: This guarantee only applies to purchases made directly on our website. It does not apply to subscriptions purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as those are subject to the respective platforms' own refund policies.

6. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal Notice

If you are a resident of the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from online purchases within fourteen (14) days.

However, under EU law, this right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun with your prior express consent. By completing your purchase and accessing Plantiary's premium features, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the digital service and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or otherwise reverse any payment for your subscription with your bank or credit card company without a valid legal basis, we may immediately disable, suspend, or terminate your account at our sole discretion.

We reserve the right to dispute any illegitimate chargeback requests by providing the relevant financial institution with proof of your purchase, usage logs, and your agreement to these terms.

8. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. Any changes will be effective for future purchases and renewals. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
